Success is your auditor. It keeps a very accurate, very precise, accounting of your balances. It will never allow you to withdraw more than you’ve deposited, and you have to pay in advance for any amount you withdraw.

  • Time Invested: Success knows exactly how much time you have invested in the areas you want to create success. You can’t lie about how much time you’ve spent, and you can’t exaggerate with Success monitoring your every waking moment. Sure, you’ve done a little bit of what you need to do, but because you haven’t paid the time required in full, you don’t yet have what you want.
  • Hard Work Invested: Success is extremely stingy with what it doles out. It’s looking for hard work. A little bit of hard work produces no success. The payment is too small for Success to permit you to make any withdrawal. For a good amount of hard work, Success will allow you to have a taste of what you want, but no more. Real success comes at the price of a massive amount of hard work, more than you imagine. If you aren’t willing to sustain the deposits of hard work necessary to pay for your success, Success won’t allow you to have it.
  • Growth Invested: Your auditor doesn’t think you are good enough for the level of success you want. Success is keeping score on how much you’ve improved yourself. Success is looking for real, transformational growth, not this dabbling around the edges, never committing to what you know you need to do, and your excuse making. The kind of success you want doesn’t accrue to people who aren’t big enough to generate it. You have to grow, and Success knows whether or not you are growing or standing still.

Success is something you pay for in advance. You can’t have what you want until it is paid in full. If you want to sustainable success, you have to make equally sustainable deposits.
