Still an Effective Close (mostly): The Puppy Dog Close

-1 One old close that is still effective is the Puppy Dog Close. If you have the kind of goods that you can allow the prospect to take home and fall in love with, it is rare that you ever get them back.

My wife and nine year old daughter came across this little girl at the local pet store. She is an Akita-Lab mix. Fortunately, having two dogs already serves to immunize one against the Puppy Dog close (unless, of course, you are a nine year old girl).

The daughter is a great salesperson because she has the primary attribute needed to succeed in sales: a relentless, single-minded persistence. But she lost this sale.

One Tip: Sending a picture isn't nearly as effective as sending the Puppy Dog itself.
