Someone sent me an election-related email about redistribution as applied to the workplace. I won’t post it here, with the exception of bullet point 1, which reads:
1. All salespeople will be pooling their sales and bonuses into a common pool that will be divided equally between all of you. This will serve to give those of you who are underachieving a "fair shake."
I don’t know about you, but this policy wouldn’t last a day in any sales organization with which I have ever been involved.
