You like doing what you are doing now. You know there are other things that you could be doing, but you don’t want to do them. So you keep doing what you’ve always done.
You know that there are other choices available to you, but all of them make you uncomfortable. So you keep doing what you’ve been doing (maybe for as long as you remember).
You need better results. You even want better results. But that would mean you have to stop doing what you are doing now and do something different.
If what you are doing now is working for you, keep doing it. If it is producing the results you want, maybe you should even double down and do even more of it. But if what you’re doing isn’t producing the results you want–if it isn’t working–then you need to do something different.
Ask yourself, “Is what I am doing working?” Ask, “Is what I am doing right now producing the results that I am capable of producing?” Ask, “Is what I am doing making me truly happy?”
If what you are doing isn’t working, you know it’s time to do something else.
