The Annual Top Sales Awards
December 16, 2010
Thank You, Jonathan Farrington
I couldn’t let today pass without once again thanking Jonathan Farrington of JF Consulting and Top Sales World for including me in his now annual contest. I am humbled and honored to have this blog chosen as the Top Sales Blog of 2010. Jonathan did a Hell of a good job putting this together, and he and Gerhard Gschwandtner, publisher of Selling Power magazine, were wonderful hosts during today’s virtual awards show.
Thank you, Jonathan!
Thank You, TSB Readers
I love the acknowledgement, and I am as competitive as the next guy (and then some), but that isn’t why I write.
I very much appreciate the fact that you return to this site to read my posts, to share them with your community and your peers, and to add to the dialogue with your thoughts and comments (they are always welcome here).
Thank you for your support, and your vote should I have been lucky enough to have received it instead of any one of the tremendous group of sales bloggers who were chosen. I am happy just to have my name included on a list of some of the most thoughtful sales-thinkers anywhere, many of whom I am proud to call my friends. (Sounds like Bilbo Baggins: “I don’t know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.”)
Thank you!
Congratulations to the Winners
I want to congratulate all of the winners in the other categories, a list of whom can be found here. I especially want to congratulate my friend and mentor, Jill Konrath, who won the contest for Top Sales Personality. It is a fitting award to a very deserving recipient.
Congratulations, Jill!
