Two identical products being sold by two different sales people. Why do you choose one over the other? Because of trust, credibility, interaction, etc. In other words the sales person is selling himself first before he can sell his product. The sales person's brand and product brand become fused as in the case of Tiger Woods so when something happens to damage reputation, it damages the whole brand.
