Anthony - thank you for this wonderful interview -- it is a joy to hear more of Tom's ideas and I believe your point about sales people needing a solid base of business acumen is 100% on target! It has been my sad experience that far too many sales people are not keeping up with thier business self-education - not reading, studying, attending seminars -- to really keep a sharp business edge. I think that those who do take self-learning seriously give themselves a HUGE advantage and truly position themselves as "Trusted Advisors." I posted a review of "Little Big Things" on my blog - thought some of your readers might find that of value too: www.johnspence.com/blog
