I believe Salespeople are born and not made. Either you have it or you don't. If you have the inherent traits to be a salesperson, then it is possible to hone and perfect them. If not, then you can't "squeeze blood out of a turnip"! Having said that, there are many types of salespeople. For example, it takes one set of traits to be successful in a long, consultative sales cycle. It takes another set of traits to be successful in a highly transactional, quick sale.

For all of you aspiring salespeople, check this link out for a free evaluation of your sales skills. http://www.hire-intelligence.com/trial-1hiresite.html

For all of you sales managers, check out this link for a free evaluation, if you are trying to hire a sales star... it might save you some headaches! http://www.hire-intelligence.com/trial-1hiresite.html Good Luck to everyone...
